Who doesn't love Christmas? It's always great fun to unwrap gifts and find wonderful surprises. But who hasn't unwrapped the infamous pair of socks, or worse yet, the gift that really isn't for you at all? When that happends, it feels as if the whole purpose of gift-giving has been defeated. But the spiritual distribution of gifts looks far more like the gift that isn't for you than our traditional view of gift giving. In fact, the giving of spiritual gifts is defined by the Lord Jesus Christ (the owner) as He designs and builds His team (the church) to carry out His mission. Join us through the month of May as we unwrap spiritual gifts and understand how they are meant to build the team.

WARNING - This series will seriously motivate you to get in the game.

We'll explore subjects such as:

What the spiritual gifts are
How gifts are distributed
How they are implemented and used in the team (the body of Christ)
The guidelines for using them properly and well

IMPORTANT - You will have an opportunity to plug into a small group of people to explore the question of spiritual gifts and discover your own. Since spiritual gifts are the key to being properly deployed and fulfilled in serving and living out your faith, do not miss the opportunity to fine-tune your understanding of this critical subject. You will probably make some great new friends in the process as well.

Services begin at 10:00 am with our good friends from Trefzgers Bakery (the finest bakery in Peoria) providing goodies and coffee served between 9:30-9:55. Child care is provided. Click here for directions.
